If you think that GourmetGrip can only be used in the factory environment – you’re wrong. GourmetGrip can also be used in agri-farms, together with integrated object recognition system, for automated agri-harvesting of various fruits and vegetables, such as strawberries, cherry tomatoes and rambutan.
This demo video shows RoPlus’ computer vision-aided picking system. The vision system is able to detect the type, location and orientation of the object, and command the gripper to pick it with the most suitable grip pose.
